Today we are making something fun!
It's called Oobleck!!

It's from a story we read called
Bartholomew and the Oobleck.

She is talking about solids, liquids and gases.

Wow- look! Ice is a solid.
Water is a liquid and steam is a gas!

Oobleck is weird.

You need a powder called potato starch.
We use it to cook with.

I think we need water too!

Then mix it...

...with our hands!!

But Oobleck is green.
So we added spinach puree!

Oh my! this is gooey,
but it is hard sometimes too!

Is Oobleck a solid or a liquid?!?
It's BOTH!
