I didn't know that!

Magma is inside the volcano.
We call it lava when it comes out! It is so hot!!

We used newspaper and a pet bottle
in the middle to make TWO VOLCANOES!

What color is a volcano?

Lots of red and orange for the lava.

Sometimes there's lots of black smoke.

Ours is ready!

Let's see if we can make it erupt!

Pour in some vinegar!

Then when we're ready - Baking Soda!

Oh my! we put red food coloring in too!

It's erupting!
